We have a compelling opportunity for a talented Assistant/Area Sales Manager to join a progressive company that offers genuine growth prospects. Our client, a market leader in the Agricultural Ruminant sector, is seeking a high-caliber individual to join their Sales team.

About the Role:
As the Assistant/Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our client's products directly to farmers within your designated territory. Your primary focus will be on building long-term customer relationships based on the company's philosophy, which emphasizes consultative sales, customer needs, best practices, credible advice, and exceptional product performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and engage with both existing and potential customers to promote our client's products.
  • Strive to achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a proactive approach.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met consistently.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for the confidential client, representing their values and commitment to excellence.
  • Attend relevant trade shows to showcase products and expand the company's market presence.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Exhibit a consultative mindset, leveraging your deep understanding of the agricultural sector to provide valuable insights.
About You:
  • Possess a strong understanding of the agricultural sector, coupled with a genuine passion for the industry.
  • An agricultural qualification would be highly advantageous, demonstrating your expertise.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve objectives, showcasing your determination and focus.
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Must possess a valid UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel as required, as this is an essential aspect of the role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, enabling efficient record-keeping and reporting.
