Job description

THE ROLE:
Based anywhere within the UK and/or Europe, this Sales Director / Director of Market Development (EMEA) – Fertilisers job vacancy position will be working from home and working for a highly innovative organisation, that have a worldwide presence. You will be responsible for establishing and executing a sales strategy for the sales volume growth of their unique and niche fertiliser product throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This role will work within various arenas of the agriculture and horticulture markets including conventional and organic farming, regulatory frameworks, research & development, towards developing a path to penetrate relevant markets and the best path forward for this niche and highly innovative product.

THE COMPANY:

A highly innovative organisation, that have a worldwide presence within the fertiliser arena.

THE CANDIDATE:

They are looking for an individual based anywhere within the UK or Europe, from the fertiliser and/or agrochemicals arena (With a broader understanding of agronomy), that possesses international sales experience.

Additional requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in agronomy/agricultural business
  • Business development & sales experience in the field of crop protection/nutrition
  • Track record of value-added sales of high-value/premium products
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all organisational levels
  • Must be able to think strategically and creatively while also executing tactically
  • Must have good computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Preferred requirements:

  • FACTS qualification.

THE PACKAGE:

Excellent basic salary (dependent upon experience). Circa £60,000 - £90,000 basic.
Plus first class commission structure, full benefits package and definite opportunities for long-term career progression.
