The Position:
This Sales Manager job vacancy will be working for a nationwide leading supplier of agricultural and farming products. Covering the sales region of Somerset, you will be selling a range of agricultural products and farm supplies direct to farmers throughout Somerset, including animal health products, animal feed, fertilisers, seeds and general farm supplies to the local region. Calling on an agreed ledger of customers regularly you will also work closely with local store-based Agricultural and Equine Specialists to develop your personal ledger and achieve sales targets. The Candidate:
· Must have sold an agricultural/farming product to farmers.
· A strong empathy for the rural community and their values.
· An AMTRA qualification would be preferred (although not essential!).
· Drive and self-motivation are essential and will ensure success in a competitive and rewarding marketplace.
The Package:
A highly competitive salary –depending upon experience but circa £18,000 - £27,000 basic. Realistic 1st year OTE £30,000. Plus, fully expensed company car and full benefits package, as well as staff discount, training, good working conditions, pension scheme and ongoing opportunities for career advancement.
