Job Title: Service Engineer
Salary: £17.00 - £19.50 per hour
We are seeking a skilled agricultural engineer to join our dynamic service team in Forfar. Specializing in sprayers, we primarily focus on self-propelled Bateman and Agrifac machines. This role goes beyond spray systems, requiring expertise in engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, GPS, and precise calibrations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day mechanicing tasks.
• Diagnose and address engine faults, particularly with John Deere engines, utilizing service adviser tools.
• Covering Angus, Perth, Fife, and Southern Scotland, the role involves traveling and occasional overnight stays.
• Participate in a weekend on-call rota.
• Work Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with expected overtime.

Qualifications:

• Agricultural engineering background.
• Strong knowledge of engines, particularly John Deere.
• Proficiency in various technical areas: electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, GPS, and calibrations.
