Service Technician – Agricultural Machinery (Ireland & UK) - €40,000 + Overtime + 10% Increase After 1 Year + Full Travel Expenses
Location: 50% Ireland / 50% UK, Bristol

The Job:
This is an opportunity for a hands on individual with mechanical or agricultural experience who enjoys travel and variety in their work. You will spend approximately 50% of your time at the company’s main manufacturing, assembly and service facility in Ireland, and 50% in the UK (Bristol region) carrying out servicing, installation and operator training for customers.
All product and technical training will be provided in Ireland before you begin field work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair specialist biodegradable film-laying machines
- Support customer training and machine demonstrations in the field
- Provide technical assistance and machine setup on client sites
- Work closely with the Irish manufacturing and service teams
- Travel regularly between Ireland and the UK (typically 2-week rotations)

Our client is a leading manufacturer and service provider of specialist agricultural machinery, focusing on innovative biodegradable film-laying machines used on farms across Ireland and the UK. Renowned for their quality engineering and strong customer support, they are now seeking a Service Technician to join their team due to continued growth and seasonal demand.

The Candidate:
- Mechanical or agricultural background (ideally with hands-on machinery experience)
- Practical, motivated and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel frequently and stay away from home
- Full driving licence essential
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

The Package:
- Base Salary: €40,000 per annum
- 10% salary uplift after 1 year
- Overtime available
- Service van, tools, laptop, and mobile phone provided
- All travel, accommodation and expenses fully covered
- Two-week summer shutdown in July/August
