Technical Product Manager – Soft Fruit – South East UK – to £50k basic!
The Position / Company:
We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager job vacancy for a major international manufacturer of soft fruit. You will be the primary technical contact between the organisation and their international grower base. You will provide technical and agronomic support to international propagator and growers to assist in their compliance to customer quality requirements. You will be fully responsible for management of propagator and grower developments, whilst being the technical link with the planning team, propagators, growers and marketing desks. You will be responsible for the development of new varieties and products to the market place. Including the alignment of the propagators, growers and end customer. Ultimately, this exciting role will be the link between customer facing technologists and grower base from a product perspective. The Candidate:
We are looking for someone that is passionate, has the hunger and drive required to be a success in the role and is happy with the amount of National Travel which we expect to be around 40%, some of which could be Internationally. We would look at candidates around the 3-7 year mark post education, having studied either agriculture or horticulture.
The Package:
Starting salary circa £35,000 - £50,000 basic (all dependent upon experience). Plus extremely attractive benefits package etc. As you would expect from a market leader!
