Trainee Farm Manager (Mixed Farm) – North Yorkshire - Salary up to £27,000 (depending on experience) + 28 Days Holiday + Full Training + Opportunity for Career Progression!!
THE JOB:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and passionate individual to join the team at a young but progressive, mixed farm in North Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Farm Owners, you will be trained to oversee the daily running of the farm, manage the production of eggs and the 1,500 laying hens, see to the Pigs and Goats and maintain the small holding of vegetables.
With a strong emphasis on animal welfare and sustainability, this really is a superb learning environment for an exceptional individual.
This opportunity may suit either an experienced Farm Worker who is looking for the next step in their career or a Farm Manager that would like a better work/life balance!!
THE CANDIDATE:
•Hardworking and physically fit.
•Experience in a similar role.
•Enjoys working outdoors.
•Practical and able to undertake general maintenance.
•Can-do, positive attitude.
•Passionate about farming and the environment.
•Willing to commute or relocate to North Yorkshire.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary Circa £27,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus + 30 Days Holiday + Full Training + Upskilling & Career Progression!!
