The Position:
This Trainee / Development Agronomist job is based in Cheshire, working for a major manufacturer of market leading agrochemicals. This opportunity will suit an individual who possesses up-to-date knowledge of agronomy and now feels ready to progress their commercial agronomy career within a supportive and rewarding company.
The Candidate:
Beneficial Attributes – training can be provided
- BASIS qualified agronomists with at least 2 years' experience in advisory role.
- Established client base and local farmer contacts preferred but not essential.
- Up to date knowledge of UK arable farming and crop production.
- Credible with farmers and able to communicate effectively.
- Self-motivated and ambitious.
The Package:
Dependent upon the level of experience - circa £25k - £40k plus superb and highly enviable full benefits package, 25 days holiday, etc. Plus excellent opportunities to progress internally!
