The Company:
My client is looking to grow its soil advisory sales team. My client is well known and highly successful and specialises in the promotion of biological farming. They are a company dedicated to improving soil and helping farmers to move toward a biological approach to improving their soils, which in turn improves animal health leading on to higher profits.
This company and its hard working employees continually strive to try to understand the soil life and its effects.
With the price of fertilisers as they are, it is now more important than ever before that the farmer uses every tool available to him to make good business decisions on what fertilisers he NEEDS to buy, along with correct cultivation techniques for the land that he farms.
This company has been testing and monitoring soils across the whole of the UK for many years and during that time they have gained the knowledge and expertise of interpreting the results so that the farmer has the correct information of what he needs to do to maximise his land’s full earning potential.
The role:
My client is currently seeking an enthusiastic trainee to join their successful team. The successful applicant will receive continued training and support to then therefore visit farms across the UK and carry out; soil samples, soil testing, crop walking and plant sampling.
This is an exciting role for someone who wants to start their long term career within Agriculture and someone who is happy to be trained from scratch and grow within the company.
Ideally the candidate will come from a farming background and understand the types of equipment used and have a good basic understanding of farming. No sales experience is required – all this will be trained. The candidate must be trustworthy and reliable.
Package:
- Basic Salary: £18k-£20k Depending upon experience + Bonus to be discussed at interview
- Company Vehicle will also be provided.
- Mobile phone and all expenses paid too.
