UK Business Development Director – Corporate Food Sustainability
The Job Vacancy:
This UK Business Development Director job will be working for an award-winning company, renowned for their professionalism and quality of services to this niche sector. You will be working with corporate clients (food retailers, food & drink manufacturers), and the public sector, to deliver improvements in the sustainability of food, fibre and fuel produced from agricultural raw materials. The aim of this role is to engage with new potential corporate food clients and win work to support the growth and expansion of this organisation within the corporate food and drink sector. The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility / sustainability / the supply chain within the corporate food industry.
- A good awareness of sustainability issues.
- Excellent team-working, and ability to contribute towards a positive team dynamic
- Strong communication, interpersonal and client management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to client determined deadlines
- Excellent computer and information system skills; in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
The Package:
A highly competitive starting salary is offered circa £40,000 - £50,000 basic+ bonuses, as well a superb full benefits package, as well as excellent career progression opportunities!
