Responsibilities:
As our External Sales Manager, you'll be the face of the brand, responsible for promoting and selling high-end milking equipment directly to farms and through a extensive dealer network. Your role will be pivotal in establishing and expanding the market presence in the UK.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

    • Cultivate and manage relationships with farmers and dealers, providing expert guidance on our high-end milking solutions.

  • Product Knowledge:

    • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our milking equipment, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to clients.

    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our cutting-edge technology.

  • Market Research:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies.

    • Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the livestock sector.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, preparing regular reports on performance and market trends.

    • Contribute to sales forecasts and participate in regular sales meetings to discuss progress and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in external sales, ideally within the agricultural or livestock equipment sector.

  • Strong understanding of the UK livestock farming industry and its challenges.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
