Weed Control Operative – Wiltshire and Surrounding Counties – Up to £31,000 Salary + Vehicle + up to 40 days holiday + Great Training and Development Opportunities!
The Job Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Weed Control Operative who will be working for a contract specialist at residential and commercial sites within Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. The company is offering ongoing training and development for the right person. You will have a background in horticulture or agriculture ideally, and hold a PA1 and PA 6 spraying certificate.
You will work independently visiting sites within the region, to identify remedial solutions to weed growth, conducting treatment and follow up to those sites. Dealing with customers, so you will need to have good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
You must hold a full UK driving licence as a vehicle is provided.
This role offers a seasonal working pattern, giving the successful candidate a 3-day week during off peak season – between Jan – March!
The Candidate:
- Background in Horticulture or Agriculture,
- Holder of PA1 & PA6 spraying certificate is essential.
- Good computer skills.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work.
- Be able to manage your own time.
- Full driving licence.
The Package:
- Salary to £31,000 dependant on experience and qualifications.
- Mon – Friday working (40-hour week average) with occasional weekends
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays + able to buy up to an additional 17 days holiday!
