THE JOB:
We are looking for an experienced Dairy Herdsperson, for a successful family run dairy operation, located in Cumbria. This is a lovely place to work, with a great team and they can offer good accommodation on site if required.
As Dairy Herdsperson for this successful dairy farm, you will be part of a small team who are responsible for the day to day needs of the 300 strong dairy herd, that are milked twice a day. You will be responsible for all herd management and well-being of the cows.

THE CANDIDATE:
· Previous Herdsperson/Farming experience essential
· Farming qualifications desirable but not essential
· At least 1 years’ experience milking
· Good at team working and excellent communication essential.
· AI qualified an advantage
· Foot trimming experience an advantage
· Clean driving licence essential
· Tractor handling experience desirable
THE PACKAGE:
Salary Circa £40,000 + Accommodation (2 Bed Cottage).Hours 05:00 – 06:00, 6 Days
