​Field Based Mechanical Engineer (Farms) - National Coverage – Salary Circa £30,000 - £40,000 + Vehicle + Overtime or Time in Lieu + Expenses + Opportunities for Progression!!

THE ROLE:

A fantastic opportunity working for a manufacturer and supplier of specialist farm equipment (Mechanical / electrical).

We are seeking candidates with a mechanical / electrical aptitude to work within a small team of fitters, installing and maintaining fixed capital equipment on farms.

You will need to be comfortable with traveling and overnight stays, to projects throughout the UK.

You will be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the timely completion of project installations and maintenance tasks, while delivering a high standard of service to customers.

There are excellent opportunities for progression within the UK division of this European owned business.

Home based, Anywhere in England, with travel throughout the UK and infrequently to Europe.

​

THE CANDIDATE:

·         A hands-on mechanical aptitude essential

·         Experience of working in a farm environment would be desirable.

·         Good communications skills

·         Able to work/stay away from home

·         Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

·         Hold a Full UK Driving Licence

·         Computer Literate

·         Basic electrical skills would an advantage

 

THE PACKAGE:

Salary Circa £30,000 - £40,000 + Vehicle + Overtime or Time in Lieu + Expenses + Opportunities for Progression!!
