Food Account Manager – South Wales
Job Description
An exciting opportunity as a Technical Account Manager at a cutting-edge retail food packing facility in Wales. Join one of the UK's largest Meat Processors, specialising in Beef & Lamb.
The site serves as a retail hub, where meat products are packaged and sold to leading retailers. We're on the lookout for a passionate individual to manage the relationship between the retail site and leading retailers, ensuring the highest standards of Food Safety and Quality are met.
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of the Food Safety & Quality division, working closely with retailers to deliver their specific requirements to the technical account team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Package:
£45,000 per annum
40 hour working week 5 days a week, 8:30 – 5:00
Holiday of 23 days + 8 Bank holidays
Office based + travelling to meet with retailers.

Your responsibilities will include:
- You'll be working within our Food Safety & Quality division, managing client relationships and ensuring product quality.
- The role offers a mix of Retail Account Management and Internal site quality control.
- Working with retailers such as Tesco, M&S & Sainsbury's
- Monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with site teams.
- Continuing strong relationships with both customers and internal teams to position the company as the supplier of choice.
- Needs to have a strong understanding of the supply chain and current quality food standards legislation.
- Working with a team of Technical Account Managers and the Commercial Team.
