Garden Centre Worker/Manager (Horticulture) – Stourbridge - Salary up to £30,000 (depending on experience) + Great Opportunity for Career Progression!!
THE JOB:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Horticulturist to join the team at a busy, family run Garden Centre in Kidderminster that produces first class, quality plants for the retail market.
We are recruiting for a personable, dedicated Garden Centre Worker/Manager with exemplary customer service skills and good plant knowledge to deal with customers, work with budgets and to buy and source stock.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be required to work for 37.5 hours weekly over 5 days (with weekends being the busiest times).
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop into a more senior position over time.
THE CANDIDATE:
•Good plant knowledge is essential.
•Hard working and willing to work weekends.
•Exemplary customer service.
•Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work with budgets and to buy and source plants.
•Can-do, positive attitude.
•Self- starter and able to work under minimal supervision.
