The Job Role:
Working for an international market leader, we are looking to recruit a Glasshouse Technician to plan, conduct and report work that is carried out in the organisation’s glasshouse. The main tasks focus on assisting with agronomy product trials and on producing demonstration material as market support for the Business Development Team, customers and visitors to their product development and training centre.This position is suited to a self-motivated individual with a passion for agriculture and horticulture. You will have previous experience in a glasshouse environment, either hands-on growing quality crops or working on projects within glasshouses. The Candidate:
· You will have previous experience in a glasshouse environment, either hands-on growing quality crops or working on projects within glasshouses.
· HNC level qualification in agronomy/horticulture or equivalent education
· Experience within farming with crops / plants
· Competence with MS software and statistical analysis
· A keen interest in agronomy / plant physiology
· Strong organisational skills
