Sales Account Manager – Fertilisers – UK - Home Based – Basic Salary to Circa £45,000 + Bonus + Car + Benefits!
The Company:
My client specialises in R&D within the fruit, vegetables and arable crops sector and is a global market leader in crop nutrition and fertiliser manufacturing.
The Role:
My client is seeking a UK based Sales Account Manager, to manage and grow the customer portfolio. You will have a technical knowledge of plant and soil nutrition and previous experience of fertiliser sales.You will work closely with customers (growers etc), wholesalers and retailers to offer crop nutrition solutions with the given products.
The main route to market for this product will be business to business.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing new retail and wholesale business, within the Horticultural or Agricultural sectors.
This is a home-based role, with travel as required throughout the UK.
The Candidate:
5+ years commercial exposure / experience in agriculture or horticulture.
Experience of B2B sales and account management.
Experience of generating new business opportunities.
Experience of managing a distributor network.
BSc in Agriculture or Horticulture, or equivalent by education or experience.
Knowledge on advanced plant nutrition and specialty fertilizers.
An excellent command of English language, both spoken and written.
Previous experience of the UK market.
A full UK driving licence.
Basis and FACTS qualified would be an advantage.
The Package:
Salary to circa £45,000 for the right candidate (Dependant on Experience), plus bonus of up to 20% + Car + Excellent benefits package!!
