Skilled Sprayer Operator-North Norfolk
Salary £27,500 plus with overtime £40,000-£45,000
About Us:
G.W. Harrold & Partners manage approximately 2,100 hectares of farmland spread across five farms in North Norfolk. We cultivate a variety of arable crops, including Wheat, Barley, Sugar Beet, Rye, Vining Peas, and Hemp. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on our progressive approach to farming, utilising modern practices and state-of-the-art equipment.
Skill Requirements:
At least 2 years experience operating modern large sprayers.
Comprehensive understanding of chemicals, including weather impacts on spraying.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pesticide application certificates PA1, PA2, PA4S, PA6, and NRoSO registration.
Proficient in servicing and maintaining agricultural equipment.
Solid working knowledge of modern agricultural practices.
High standards of workmanship and keen attention to detail.
Ability to maintain accurate record keeping and to use a computer or hand-held device for various tasks.
A full UK driving licence (Clean).
Familiarity with tractor and sprayer GPS systems.
Workshop skills would be an advantage.Salary: £27,500 basic plus with overtime £40,000-£45,000, 39 Hour working week.
Accommodation: Available for the right candidate, if required this will be reflected in the salary.
