Agricultural Lecturer - Lancashire - £30,000 – £37,000

The Job:
A well established land based college is seeking an Agricultural Lecturer to join its growing team, delivering high quality teaching and supporting the next generation of agricultural professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently working within agriculture who is looking to move into education, as well as experienced lecturers seeking a new environment. Full training and support can be provided for those transitioning from industry. You will play a key role in delivering engaging and practical lessons, supporting students both academically and personally, and contributing to the development of the agricultural curriculum.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and effective teaching across agricultural subjects
- Supporting, mentoring and guiding students to achieve their potential
- Assessing student work and monitoring progress
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting quality assurance processes
- Developing course materials and contributing to curriculum development
- Building links with industry to enhance student experience
- Participating in open days, events and wider college activities

The Candidate: 
- Background in agriculture (arable, livestock, farm management or related sectors)
- Passion for the industry and developing future talent
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- Teaching qualification (desirable, not essential as training can be provided)
- Industry experience essential

This role would suit someone looking to step away from full-time farming while still staying closely connected to the industry.

- Salary £30,000 – £37,000
