Business Development Manager – Organic Fertilisers – UK - Home Based – Basic Salary Circa £32 - £35k + Commission + Car!
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity with a manufacturer of Organic Fertilisers. My client is seeking a UK based Business Development Manager, to manage and grow the national business. You will have a technical knowledge of plant and soil nutrition and previous experience of fertiliser sales. You will work closely with customers (growers etc), wholesalers and retailers to offer crop nutrition solutions with the given products.
The main route to market for this product will be business to business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing new retail and wholesale business, within the Horticultural or Agricultural sectors.
This is a home-based role, with travel as required throughout the UK.
The Candidate:
- Previous business development experience.
- Experience of dealing with Horticultural Retailers and Garden Centres would be an advantage.
- A commercial or technical background in agricultural chemicals or fertilisers.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Able to cover the sales region.
- An existing sales ledger and contacts would be an advantage.
- Be a confident communicator.
- A full UK driving licence.
The Package:
Basic Salary Circa £32 - £35k + Unlimited Commission + Car + unlimited prospects for personal growth and earning potential
