The Job Role:
This is a great opportunity for a Farm Operations Manager with a well-established, market leading farm that specialises in pig breeding. We are recruiting for a Farm Operations Manager for a major pig breeding operation in North Yorkshire. You will be managing the full operations of two in-house breeding units and one third party breeding unit (all indoors), as well as 1100 acres of combinable crops, whilst managing a team of 5 direct reports. You will manage all of the on-site personnel, full day to day operations of the farm, be the main trouble shooter and first point of call for all issues. This is a great operations and management role, with lots of variety.

Commercial exposure experience on farm.
Management experience.
Understanding of farm operations.
Able to lead a team and get the best from staff in all situations.
Natural trouble shooter.
Good communication skills.
Good team-working skills.
Ability to deal at all levels.
The Package:
Circa £60k basic per annum, accommodation available + car + excellent benefits!
