Farm Stock Person
Farm Stock Person - Bath - £29,000 + Accommodation
The Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Farm Stock Person to join a progressive livestock operation. Working as part of an established farm team, you will support the efficient day to day running of the unit, ensuring high standards of animal welfare, hygie, and overall performance are consistently maintained.
This is a hands on role suited to someone practical, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards within a fast paced farming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor animal welfare, carrying out regular health checks and identifying any issues
- Ensure effective feeding and watering across the unit
- Safely move livestock around the site as required
- Carry out general farm duties, including cleaning and maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Maintain accurate farm records and data
- Follow all health & safety, environmental, and operational procedures
The Candidate:
- Good understanding of animal welfare and hygiene practices
- Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of work
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience in a fast-paced or agricultural environment
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to learn
- Basic English and maths skills
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends on a rota
- Previous livestock or farm experience (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
