Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Multi Skilled Engineer to join a Feed Mill in Herefordshire. Operating in a fast-paced and dynamic feed manufacturing environment, you will play a crucial role in optimising machinery output, ensuring product quality, and minimising plant downtime through effective maintenance practices.
Responsibilities:
Package:
- £40,000 per annum (including shift premium)
- Rotating shifts, averaging 42 hours per week
- Comprehensive training and career development opportunities, 5.6 weeks holiday increasing with service, up to 3% matched pension contribution and life assurance, various lifestyle benefits including wellbeing resources, car parking available, bonus eligibility after 13 and 26 weeks.

Responsibilities:
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance of Plant and Equipment
- Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements
- Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to Management and minimise plant disruption
- Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure compliance with engineering standards and hygiene practices
- Participate in mechanical and electrical projects and installations
- Operate effluent plant systems ensuring environmental compliance
- Understand and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines
