The Job:
A growing agricultural supply business is seeking a field based Sales Representative to develop and manage sales across Kilkenny and surrounding counties. The role focuses on selling dairy equipment and feed products directly to farmers, alongside supporting and developing dealer relationships.
This is a customer facing, territory based role suited to someone with a strong understanding of dairy farming who enjoys building long term relationships and delivering practical, farm focused solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing sales of dairy equipment and feed products within the region
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with dairy farmers and dealers
- Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts
- Supporting dealer partnerships and collaborative sales activity
- Conducting regular on-farm visits, demonstrations, and follow-ups
- Managing the sales pipeline, forecasts, and reporting
- Representing the business at agricultural events and farm meetings

The Candidate
- Experience in agricultural sales or a strong dairy farming background
- Good understanding of dairy systems and farmer decision-making
- Confident communicator with a practical, farmer-first approach
- Commercially driven and motivated to exceed targets
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Experience with dairy equipment, feed, or agri supplies
- Animal husbandry or herd management background
- Existing farming or dealer network in the region

The Package
- Basic salary €40,000–€50,000 per annum DOE
- Commission structure: 4% of sales above agreed threshold
- Company vehicle or car allowance
- Phone, laptop and sales tools provided
