Seed Manager (Agricultural Merchant / Arable Inputs) – Chelmsford - Competitive salary
The Job:
Our client is recruiting a Seed Manager to lead seed procurement, forecasting, stock planning, and commercial performance across their merchanting operation.
The role sits at the centre of supplier engagement, internal sales support, and operational planning, ensuring seed availability aligns with seasonal demand, agronomy recommendations, and customer requirements.
The Company:
Our client is a well-established agricultural merchant supplying arable growers with seed, fertiliser, and crop protection products. The business has a strong regional footprint and a loyal customer base built on service and technical support.
The Candidate:
- Experience in seed management, arable inputs, or agricultural trading
- Strong forecasting and stock-planning capability
- Commercially driven with attention to margin and availability
- Comfortable working closely with growers, suppliers, and sales teams
