Service Engineer - Scotland, Forfar – up to £44,000 + Excellent Benefits!
 
The Job:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join a leading agricultural equipment dealership with a strong presence in Scotland. Operating from our Letham Depot near Forfar, providing high-quality service and maintenance solutions to the customers.
Role Overview:
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment to the highest standards. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional support and that their machinery operates at optimal performance levels.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on agricultural equipment, focusing on harvesting machinery and tractors.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure machinery longevity and reliability.
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support, both on-site and in the workshop.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Engineer, preferably in the agricultural machinery sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of agricultural equipment, particularly harvesting machinery and tractors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to work weekends as required.
 
The Package:
  • Salary: £16-£18 per hour.
  • Additional pay for Saturday and Sunday work (x1.5hourly rate on Saturdays, x2 hourly rate on Sundays).
