Technical Manager – Organic Herbs & Plants – South West
The Job Vacancy:
This Technical Manager – Organic Herbs & Plants – South West job vacancy is working for a major manufacturer of organically certified food and drink products. Managing a team of three, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing the organic herbs and plants to support the organisations continues growth, ensuring that their quality, sustainability and ethical standards are met. As part of the role, there will be some international/worldwide travel to organic farms. A mix of commercial and technical experience would be ideal for this role. The Company:
A major manufacturer of organically certified food and drink products.
The Candidate:
- Either a Technical Manager / Senior Buyer / Sourcer with technical experience (organic farming) OR someone from a plant production / organic farming / agronomy background with some commercial exposure.
- BSc, MSc or equivalent knowledge of agronomy, horticulture or related scientific discipline.
- Ability to manage a small team.
- Hard-working and enthusiastic.
- Highly dynamic individual.
The Package:
A highly competitive salary is offered, circa £40,000 - £55,000 basic (dependent upon experience) + upto 8% bonus + Pension + various welfare benefits and definite opportunities to progress!
