Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Dungannon, Northern Ireland – Competitive Salary and Benefits
The Job
A well established manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its maintenance team in Dungannon. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role ensures the efficient running of all electrical systems, machinery, and facilities through both preventative and reactive maintenance. The position also supports engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day electrical maintenance support to production areas to minimise downtime
- Record, track, and close planned and reactive maintenance work using internal systems
- Support engineering and operations teams with technical advice and troubleshooting
- Manage electrical projects from installation through to commissioning
- Carry out safety checks, risk assessments, PAT testing, and energy readings
- Assist with lock-out/tag-out procedures and shift handovers
- Promote waste reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

The Candidate:
- Qualified Electrical Engineer or experienced in electrical maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or relevant apprenticeship
- Strong understanding of electrical and control systems, diagnostics, and fault finding
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
- Train the Trainer or Continuous Improvement qualification
- Experience contributing to efficiency and sustainability projects
