Interim Dairy Farm Manager – Aberystwyth, Wales (Accommodation provided)
The Job Vacancy:
This Interim Dairy Farm Manager – Aberystwyth, Wales job vacancy is working for a major dairy farm in the Aberystwyth region of Wales, where cottage accommodation will be provided to cater for the successful candidate. This is likely to be a 4-6 month initial contract. The farms extend to some primarily dairy and sheep farming, woodland and associated research activities, however dairy farming experience is essential. The Farm Manager will be responsible for continuing to develop a leading, sustainable, commercial farming business to support knowledge exchange, research and teaching. The Farms Manager will manage and oversee daily operations of the dairy farm. You will be responsible for all duties associated with the efficient running of a large and diverse commercial farming operation

The Candidate:
Previous dairy fam experience, ideally at Assistant Farm Manager level.
You will require a HND or BSc in Agriculture, Farm Management or other related discipline as well as experience of developing farm business plans, including setting and managing budgets with a strong focus on delivery.
