Livestock Farm Manager – Hertfordshire
The Job Role:
Working for a highly reputable 285-acre site, this Livestock Farm Manager job vacancy is based in Hertfordshire. Your duties will include the daily routine management of all farm livestock, routine veterinary medication, building and equipment maintenance and management of grassland. We are looking for an effective “hands-on” person responsible for the management and day to day running of all aspects of the organisations farming activities. This is a very hands-on role, working for a forward-thinking company, so you must have a flexible approach. It really is a great opportunity for an experienced livestock farmer, or assistant livestock farmer to be hands on, with great levels of autonomy.
The Company:
Highly reputable arable farm in Cambridgeshire.
The Candidate:
• Relevant level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working with farm animals including breeding and marketing.
• Experience of farm record keeping.
• Knowledge and experience of farm machinery and equipment.
• PA1/2/PA6 Pesticide Certificates.
• Experience of working in a manual environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
The Package:
Starting basic salary at £30,000 - £40,000 basic depending upon experience. Benefits include accommodation, etc!
